ABOUT

As an accomplished marketing, branding and communications professional, Melanie Cannon has over two decades of experience in data-driven strategies, corporate identities, creative advertising and compelling storytelling. 

Currently, Melanie serves as the Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations at KLH Engineers, a national leader in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology engineering. She oversees the firm’s marketing and communication strategies, driving brand visibility and promoting KLH’s diverse portfolio of services and subsidiaries.

With a passion for volunteerism, Melanie actively contributes to professional organizations. She currently holds board positions with the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Mid-Atlantic Region and DBIA Ohio Valley Region, and volunteers on the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Washington, DC Education Committee. Previously, she served on the board of SMPS Greater Cincinnati, where she was recognized as Member of the Year in 2023.

Melanie earned a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the College of Mount St. Joseph, blending creative vision and strategic expertise.
